Anthony Bailey is a senior public affairs and relations consultant with wide agency and in-house experience in Government, Corporate, Media, Special and Investments field.
In the government arena, he has since 1989 advised over sixty-six governments and diplomatic missions on a wide range of communications disciplines including media relations, economic and trade promotion, special events, tourism, protocol and ceremonial, VIP, state, official and working visits, culture promotion, issues and crisis management.
These have often included complex communications assignments for governments across the world. Client or client partners have included in recent years governmental or non-governmental authorities in Antigua & Barbuda, Grenada, Jordan, Peru, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Brazil, Syria, Yemen, Czech Republic, Bahrain, Portugal, Vatican City State, Mongolia, Slovenia, Egypt, Panama, Costa Rica, Andorra, The Philippines, The Gambia, Thailand, Tunisia, Chile, Malawi, Mauritania, Montenegro, Pakistan, Guyana, Russia, Swaziland, Sri Lanka, Venezuela and Morocco.
In the corporate field he advises clients on a wide range of communications activities, including media relations, special events and public affairs. He has worked under contract to BAE Systems, Shell International, Charming Hotels, Caterpillar Trucks, General Mediterranean Holding Group, Raffles International, Portugal Telecom, Buchannan Capital Group, Le Royal Hotels Group, Brown’s Hotel, Instituto de Empresa, Mawred, and Women In Business International among others.
In 2013 Anthony was appointed Special Adviser to the Board of TIMWE in Portugal responsible for international activities.
In 2013 Anthony was also appointed as Special Adviser to the Chairman of Rome based Vitrociset S.p.A
Prior to his appointment Anthony had previously held positions as Chairman of Eligo International (1998-2015) Senior Media Adviser to Manning, Selvage and Lee Limited (1996), Senior Account Director of Burson-Marsteller (1991-1995), as well as Program Manager of Management Communications at IBM Europe Middle East and Africa in Paris (1995).
