Budapest, April 2013. His Excellency János Áder, President of the Republic of Hungary, has awarded the Chairman of Eligo International Limited, Mr Anthony Bailey, OBE, the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary. This state honour was presented to Mr Bailey in recognition for his contribution to furthering British-Hungarian relations during the past 25 years. Mr Bailey has worked and studied in Hungary since 1990.
The decoration was presented to Anthony Bailey by the Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary, His Excellency Dr Zsolt Semjén, at a ceremony held at the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest. His Excellency Jonathan Knott, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Hungary also attended.
HM The Queen has granted Mr Bailey an Unrestricted Permission to accept and wear this award.
