London, January 2007. Mr Anthony Bailey has been appointed a Member of
the Ministerial Task Force for Gifted and Talented Education, Department of
Children, Schools and Families. (UK).
The Ministerial Task Force for Gifted and Talented Education is a
programme which can identify gifted and talented young people and help
provide them with support and stimulation which encourages them to
aspirations commensurate with their ability and potential.
The focus of the Ministerial Task Force for Gifted and Talented
Education is to engage teachers and school leaders, building on and
enhancing existing provision, promoting and disseminating good
practice, as well as supporting the development of innovative new
methodologies and providing a positive drive for whole school
improvement.
