Tirana, September 2012. On the occasion of his visit to Albania in his capacity of Grand Magistral Delegate for Inter-Religious Relations of the Constantinian Order, HE Mr Anthony Bailey, paid a courtesy visit on the Mayor of Tirana, Mr Lulzim Basha, at the Mayor’s Office.
During the visit the Mayor and Mr Bailey discussed the work of the charitable and inter-religious activities of the Constantinian Order in Albania. Mayor Basha drew to the attention of the considerable restoration and rebuilding of Christian churches and Mosques taking place in his city, the plans for the building of an inter-religious centre and the national and international importance that Albania places on the life and legacy of Albanian born Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
The Mayor later hosted a lunch for Mr Bailey which the Charge d’affaires of Albania to Great Britain, Mr Mal Berisha also attended.
